Forklift Training in KwaThema ;
1. Ensure that all participants of the training have received a copy of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the SANS Code and any other relevant regulations prior to beginning the course.

2. Choose an accredited forklift trainer in KwaThema who has experience and knowledge in safety protocols and current regulations for operating a forklift.

3. Schedule the Forklift Training at least one week in advance, so that you can obtain proper safety equipment such as a hard hat, steel-toe boots, goggles, etc., for each participant in the course.

4. Prepare the necessary resources including handouts, training materials and diagrams needed to conduct an effective Forklift Training session.

5. Arrange for a certified forklift instructor who will assess each trainee’s skills and competency level during practical sessions with a variety of different makes and models of forklifts (including reach trucks).

6. Cover topics related to lifting loads safely with forks, vehicle controls and basic maintenance needs during theory lessons before heading into practice sessions.

7. Use role playing activities and demonstrations throughout the course to ensure that each trainee can safely operate their own machine by following important safety protocols as they would do on their own job sites after receiving their certification at completion of the course .

8. Provide quizzes throughout the training session to assess learning objectives which are required by relevant industry regulations or certifications standards; (e.g NOSA).

9. Issue each successful participant with their Certificate upon completion of the Forklift Training Course before allowing them access onto job sites using heavy machinery or hazardous chemicals where operating heavy machinery is needed for loading/unloading duties..
