Other Types of Forklifts We Train on

1. Electric Counterbalanced Forklifts

Electric counterbalanced forklifts are ideal for the transportation and stacking of heavy items, materials, or containers. These machines are available in various sizes, capacities, and load centers that make them suitable for many different applications.

Advantages: Electric counterbalanced forklifts provide more power than other types of powered lift equipment and have a much lower operating cost compared to gasoline-powered machines. They also produce significantly less noise and emissions than other powered vehicles. The lack of fumes and engine heat helps create a more pleasant working environment. In addition, electric counterbalanced forklifts have lower maintenance costs due to fewer parts that require repair or replacement.

Safety Features: Many electric counterbalanced forklifts come with additional safety features such as overload protection systems and non-skid floor plates to reduce accidents from slips and falls. They also often feature adjustable steering sensitivity so operators can maneuver easily in tight spaces. Other features include LED work lights for improved visibility at night and even protective guards to shield workers from flying debris or loose objects that may fall from the forks during operation.

Applications: Electric counterbalanced forklifts are versatile machines suitable for both indoor and outdoor operations including warehouses, shipping yards, manufacturing facilities, retail stores, construction sites, agricultural operations, and anywhere else where goods need to be moved efficiently over short distances. These powerful machines can move goods up to four times faster than manual lifting and carrying methods.
